Charlie Brown walks along, kicking his mitt. He wonders,“Who’d ever want to sponsor me?!” “Rats!”
He stops, looks at the reader, and says,“Unless…” “Why not?”
He runs along, mitt in hand, and wearing a shirt that reads,‘Violet’s Mud Pies’. He shouts,“O.K., start the game!!”
